Dwelling in the Good

Philippians 4:8-9

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise—dwell on these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—put these things into practice, and the God of shalom will be with you

There is a saying in the Navy a whinney sailor is a happy sailor (and yes I edited that for a more social acceptance), yet Sha’ul is telling us never to whine but look to all the good God has place in our lives. Once we understand that good then dwell on it so that God’s peace can fill our lives. My Rabbi has said many times that if you are a believer you cannot be offended. It finally makes sense if I am dwelling on all the good God has given me I cannot be offended. Abba help seal this in my heart so that I can stand with such conviction for You. I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen
