Desire

Matthew 21:12-13
Yeshua entered the Temple grounds and drove out those who were doing business there, both the merchants and their customers. He upset the desks of the money-changers and knocked over the benches of those who were selling pigeons. He said to them, “It has been written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’But you are making it into a den of robbers!”

Too many times I have come across people who look to religion as a vocation instead of trusting in Adonai as a calling. I have see so much of this that it almost caused me to doubt my trust in God. Just as the merchants pushed out the Gentiles out of the outer courts so they could not worship Adonai under that regime of Kayafa the cohen hagadol, people who focus on earnings instead of doing what they are called to do force would be believers away from God. Dear Lord never let me be a stumbling block for anyone but always be a lamp showing Your love to this world. I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.
