Discernment

Romans 16:19-20
For everyone has heard about your obedience; therefore I rejoice over you. However, I want you to be wise concerning good, but innocent concerning evil. And God, the source of shalom, will soon crush the Adversary under your feet.

Blind obedience is not enough as Sha’ul warns the Romans, we as believers are to wise as well discerning between those who seek leadership just for personal gain and those who seek leadership as called by Adonai. It is in this discernment, being like the good people of Berea and searching the Word to measure what is said that God the source of all peace in our lives will remove all Adversary’s manipulations and give us rest. Dear Lord my soul cries out for those green pastures and still waters. Help me to stay firmly rooted in Your Word so that I will always so others Your love. Let the move of the Spirit on this day be overwhelming as it was on the Mountain and again in Jerusalem, I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.
