So then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers. On the contrary, you are fellow-citizens with God’s people and members of God’s family. You have been built on the foundation of the emissaries and the prophets, with the cornerstone being Yeshua the Messiah himself.
As believers all of us are joined together by our trust in Yeshua’s sacrifice and Adonai’s leadership. It is this unity, or as my Rabbi likes to say One New Man, that allows us to show the love of God to others. Yet as with any great building, we would have nothing if it wasn’t for those who came before us. For me it is believing parents and grandparents, friends and teachers of the Word. For them I am sure it is the same going back through time all the way to Sha’ul and Yochanan (John) and Kefah (Peter) and before them the prophets and judges of Israel yet before them all Yeshua through Him who all creation was made and stepped down from heaven to redeem us all. Glory to God in the Highest, may His peace be ours and may Jerusalem call out ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of ADONAI! Amen.
