Correctly Yoked

2 Corinthians 6:14-16

Do not yoke yourselves together in a team with unbelievers. For how can righteousness and lawlessness be partners? What fellowship does light have with darkness?  What harmony can there be between the Messiah and B’liya’al? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?  What agreement can there be between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God—as God said,

To many congregations has sought out appeasement instead of righteousness.  Time and again ADONAI has told us to cast off the ones that refuse to follow His commands so that we may stand before Him cleansed and ready for the service we are called to do.  Still they would rather cling to old sinful ways and lie and say they are “loving the sinner and not the sin” yet how can one when you tolerate the sin in the first place.  Yeshua himself in the Revelation of John condemned the body for tolerating that Jezebel woman and failing to cast her out in her sin so that her sin may convict her of need of salvation and she could return and sin no more.  Lord give me strength to stand firmly on Your Word in my life.  I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.
