Judgement

Ezekiel 14:13-20

“Human being, when a land sins against me by dealing treacherously with me, so that I stretch out my hand over it and break off its food supply, sending it famine and eliminating both its humans and its animals; even if these three men were in it—Noach, Dani’el and Iyov—they would by their righteousness save only themselves,” says Adonai ELOHIM.

“If I unleash wild beasts on the land, and they kill its children and desolate it, so that no one can pass through because of the animals; even if these three men were in it, as I live,” says Adonai ELOHIM, “they would save neither sons nor daughters; only they themselves would be saved, and the land would remain barren.

“Or if I bring the sword down on that land, saying, ‘Let the sword pass through the land, ‘so that I eliminate both its humans and its animals; even if these three men were in it, as I live,” says Adonai ELOHIM, “they would save neither sons nor daughters; only they themselves would be saved.

“Or if I bring a plague into that land and pour out my fury on it in bloodshed, so that I eliminate both its humans and its animals; even if Noach, Dani’el and Iyov were in it, as I live,” says Adonai ELOHIM, “they would save neither a son nor a daughter; they would save only themselves by their righteousness.”

 

There comes a point in a nation’s apostasy that ADONAI will no longer tolerate the idol worship. In that time even the most righteous of men cannot stand in the gap and intercede for the rest of the nation. Lord I pray I never see such days. I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.

Praise

Revelation 4:11

“You are worthy, ADONAI Eloheinu,

to have glory, honor and power,

because you created all things—

yes, because of your will they were created

and came into being!”

 

The praise of ADONAI by the angles themselves. How can I express it any better. Thank You Lord for Your living Word which is Yeshua ha Mashiach! Amen.

Unity

Revelation 3:1-3
​ “To the angel of the Messianic Community in Sardis, write: ‘Here is the message from the one who has the sevenfold Spirit of God and the seven stars: “I know what you are doing—you have a reputation for being alive, but in fact you are dead! Wake up, and strengthen what remains, before it dies too! For I have found what you are doing incomplete in the sight of my God. So remember what you received and heard, and obey it, and turn from your sin! For if you don’t wake up, I will come like a thief; and you don’t know at what moment I will come upon you.

This is one of the problems with the body today. We get so hung up on how we are worshiping ADONAI that we start to worship our religion instead of the Creator of all life. God has said time and again He wants our circumcised hearts to write His Word on so that we may go out and show the world His love. I don’t know how all of that will look but I know it starts with believers reconciling themselves to God and each other so that Jew and Gentile can come together as the one new man that Sha’ul writes about in Ephesians. Dear Lord give me opportunity to share and boldly share Your love with Your people. I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.

Sharing

Ezekiel 3:17-21

“Human being, I have appointed you to be a watchman for the house of Isra’el. When you hear a word from my mouth, you are to warn them for me. If I say to a wicked person, ‘You will certainly die’; and you fail to warn him, to speak and warn the wicked person to leave his wicked way and save his life; then that wicked person will die guilty; and I will hold you responsible for his death. On the other hand, if you warn the wicked person, and he doesn’t turn from his wickedness or his wicked way, then he will still die guilty; but you will have saved your own life. Similarly, when a righteous person turns away from his righteousness and commits wickedness, I will place a stumbling block before him—he will die; because you failed to warn him, he will die in his sin; his righteous acts which he did will not be remembered; and I will hold you responsible for his death. But if you warn the righteous person that a righteous person should not sin, and he doesn’t sin; then he will certainly live, because he took the warning; and you too will have saved your life.”

 

ADONAI doesn’t address Yechezk’el by his name but as “Human being”, because so I believe this word isn’t just for Yechezk’el but for all of us as ones who trust in Yeshua. If we fail to admonish sin then we fail to save someone in that sin. If we fail to save someone in sin due to our lack of action, we have become the judge and ADONAI says He will hold that against us. It is hard and emotionally straining to confront someone who may not want to be shown their error but failing to do so may mean losing a brother or sister forever. ADONAI, You alone may judge a man’s heart yet You would have me show others what You measure goodness by. Lord strengthen me because I am weak when I am convicted to share Your Word. Too many times in my past I failed in standing up for You, so it is only in Your strength that I can do as You command. Fill my spirit to bursting so that I cannot help but share Your Word. I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.

My Rock

Psalm 144:1-2

Blessed be ADONAI, my rock,

who trains my hands for war

and my fingers for battle.

He shows me grace; and he is my fortress,

my stronghold, in whom I find shelter,

my shield, in whom I take refuge,

who subdues my people under me.

 

Nothing I do will ever stop my battles, it is ADONAI who fights for us in that struggles are defeated. Study and prayer writes His Torah on my heart and strengthens me to see the new day through. His protection is always there for me keeping me away from slanderous gossip and idle prattlings. If one day I am forced to violence then I know even then He protects me. Dear Lord thank You for letting me walk confidently in this world. Thank You for giving me Your Ruach to give witness to Your love and strengthen me in protecting Your own. Abba keep Your wisdom and discernment in my heart, I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.

Perceptions

Jeremiah 37:12-14

Yirmeyahu left Yerushalayim to go to the territory of Binyamin to receive his share of an inheritance there. He was passing through the crowds and had reached the gate leading toward Binyamin when a guard commander there named Yir’iyah the son of Shelemyah, the son of Hananyah, seized Yirmeyahu the prophet, shouting, “You’re deserting to the Kasdim!” Yirmeyahu answered, “That is a lie! I am not deserting to the Kasdim”; but Yir’iyah wouldn’t listen to him. So he arrested Yirmeyahu and brought him to the officials.

 

False accusations are a part of life, whether the accuser is doing so to cause trouble or just has the wrong perception of a situation we as believers will be subject to such in our lives. We must face these times like Yirmeyahu, with truth and clarity of purpose. In the end ADONAI used this to preserve Yirmeyahu during the sacking of Yerusalem, and finally restoring Yirmeyahu to his home. Lord let me rejoice in times of trouble and keep my focus on You. Don’t let me get caught up in distractions of a moment but stay always in Your will. I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.

Tomorrow

Jeremiah 31:32-33

“For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Isra’el after those days,” says ADONAI: “I will put my Torah within them and write it on their hearts; I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will any of them teach his fellow community member or his brother, ‘Know ADONAI’; for all will know me, from the least of them to the greatest; because I will forgive their wickednesses and remember their sins no more.”

 

A promise of days to come when we will all know God and He will write His very Word on our hearts so we may all live in peace together. Oh Abba let this day come now. Heal all our bleeding lands in this world, stomp out slavery, degradation and crime and let us spend our days worshiping You. I ask this all in Yeshua’s name, amen.

Psalms 118:8-9

It is better to take refuge in ADONAI

than to trust in human beings;

better to take refuge in ADONAI

than to put one’s trust in princes.

 

ADONAI is our salvation in all things. Today America is at it’s financial pinnacle as compared to other countries. Even our poorest have access to ice which makes them living in the top five percent of the world’s economic status. Yet for all this we as a country have forgotten the morality that God gave us in dealing with each other. Fatherless homes, widows and orphans abandoned these are the sins that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, the sexual disfunction was a symptom of their loss of morality. It is the same today, we sacrifice our children for convenience, abandon people out of selfishness, and have to deal with rampant sexuality that purposely defies God. We have put our trust in ourselves and our leaders forgetting that it was ADONAI who allow our ancestors to succeed in the first place. ADONAI TZ’VA’OT, Lord of Host, forgive my nation for it’s foolishness and forgive me for my lost way. Lord I have many times treated others less than I would treat myself, just because I was tired or lazy and didn’t have the moral fiber to lean on Your Word. Lord carve in me to treat my neighbor as myself so that no one I know will have an excuse not to know You. Abba let them see me and ask where my salvation lies, in whom do I hide myself in trouble so I may share Your glory with them. I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.

Infilling

1 John 1:6-7

If we claim to have fellowship with him while we are walking in the darkness, we are lying and not living out the truth. But if we are walking in the light, as he is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of his Son Yeshua purifies us from all sin.

 

The sin in our lives can only exist in the darkness of our souls. Having accepted Yeshua as our savior banishes darkness since it cannot exist in light and the world will see the change in our lives. if there is no change in character then there is no trust in God. Dear Lord don’t let my foolishness ever be a hindrance to another coming to know you. Convict fme so that I always stay true to Your Word and the salvation that is Yeshua ha Mashiach. I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.

Learning

Psalms 105:1-5

​ Give thanks to ADONAI! Call on his name!

Make his deeds known among the peoples.

Sing to him, sing praises to him,

talk about all his wonders.

Glory in his holy name;

let those seeking ADONAI have joyful hearts.

Seek ADONAI and his strength;

always seek his presence.

Remember the wonders he has done,

his signs and his spoken rulings.

 

Learning what ADONAI has done for us and others should always be a time of joyful sharing. As believers chase after all we can learn about Him. Abba thank You for sharing all Your wonders with us so we can have a view into Your love for us. Lord never let me lose the wonder of Your love. I ask this in Yeshua’s name, amen.
