Perspective

Mark 8:32-33

32 He spoke very plainly about it. Kefa took him aside and began rebuking him. 33 But, turning around and looking at his talmidim, he rebuked Kefa. “Get behind me, Satan!” he said, “For your thinking is from a human perspective, not from God’s perspective!”

I have this problem alot, I mean well but I am only seeing the situation from my prospective. Adonai keep my view point from continuing with your chosen.

Growth

Mark 4:30-32

30 Yeshua also said, “With what can we compare the Kingdom of God? What illustration should we use to describe it? 31 It is like a mustard seed, which, when planted, is the smallest of all the seeds in the field; 32 but after it has been planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all the plants, with such big branches that the birds flying about can build nests in its shade.”

What a great day it was when I stopped rebelling and accepted Yeshua as my savior. A death sentence was lifted off my soul, but the blessing since then have only deepened my trust in Him and have grown like the mustard tree in Yeshua’s parable. I pray that I grow more to be a blessing to others in the coming seasons.

Refining

Job 17:7-9

7 I am nearly blind with grief,
my limbs reduced to a shadow.
8 The upright are perplexed at this,
the innocent aroused against the hypocrites.
9 Yet the righteous hold on to their way,
and those with clean hands grow stronger and stronger.

All of us have faced trials that in the midst of them we couldn’t tell if it was an attack by the enemy or refining by Adonai. Yet Job tells us in verse 9 of chapter 17 no matter the source of the trial “Yet, the righteous hold on to their way,” It is only by clinging to the Word which is Yeahua, and following His direction will we succeed in the promise of growing stronger.

One New Man

Acts 22:27-28

27 The commander came and said to Sha’ul, “Tell me, are you a Roman citizen?” “Yes,” he said. 28 The commander replied, “I bought this citizenship for a sizeable sum of money.” “But I was born to it,” Sha’ul said. 29 At once the men who had been about to interrogate him drew back from him; and the commander was afraid too, because he realized that he had put this man who was a Roman citizen in chains.

Even in chains Sha’ul gives us an illustration of the one new man. The captain having bought his citizenship at great price has been grafted onto the community and given some authority. Sha’ul though he’s been born to his postion selected even before birth. As the one new man it is up to those of us grafted in to protect our Jewish brothers so that they might preach the Word to the world as the priestly nation they are called to be.

Sterile

Job 15:34-35

34 “For the community of the ungodly is sterile;
fire consumes the tents of bribery.
35 They conceive trouble and give birth to evil;
their womb prepares deceit.”

Never really caught this nugget before, to be sinful is to be sterile, to have no legacy, to lose everything.  To wallow in sin one chooses for oneself to be like the mule, strong in the moment but no children to carry on the legacy Adonai wanted to give. The sin that one makes the foundation of their life drives away friends, drives away family, drives away God until the lie of their sin is birthed and they are alone and dead forever. A sad truth in our world today.

Trusting

Acts 17:30-31

30 “In the past, God overlooked such ignorance; but now he is commanding all people everywhere to turn to him from their sins. 31 For he has set a Day when he will judge the inhabited world, and do it justly, by means of a man whom he has designated. And he has given public proof of it by resurrecting this man from the dead.”

The crucifixion of Yeshua was the example of judgement executed against one unjustly so that we may understand just how cruelly disobedient we have been to Adonai. When he judges our relationship with Him will Yeshua adovocate for you because of your show of trust in him? I pray my trust continue to grow till it is enough to reach the generations.

Dawn

Job 13:7-10

7 “But ask the animals — they will teach you —
and the birds in the air — they will tell you;
8 or speak to the earth — it will teach you —
and the fish in the sea will inform you:
9 every one of them knows
that the hand of Adonai has done this!
10 In his hand is the life of every living thing
and the spirit of every human being.

Every morning I get up just before dawn and I see creation wake to a new day. There can be no doubt that God created all this if on would only take the time to see.

Discernment

Acts 14:11-13

11 When the crowds saw what Sha’ul had done, they began to shout in the Lycaonian language, “The gods have come down to us in the form of men!” 12 They began calling Bar-Nabba “Zeus” and Sha’ul “Hermes,” since he did most of the talking; 13 and the priest of Zeus, whose temple was just outside the city, brought bulls and wreaths to the city gates, intending to offer a sacrifice to them with the people.

As God moves more powerfully among His people, there will be others who misunderstand what is happening and try to redefine who God is. I must test each teaching against one standard, God’s Word.
